Keepers for a day

A night at the zoo
Enjoy the unique experience of a night at the zoo. Thanks to our two Lodges located in the heart of the Tiger and Jaguar enclosures, experience an unusual moment close to these powerful felines.

Keeper for a day
The programme of your day
- 9am: A carer will welcome you on arrival. Once changed and equipped, you are ready for an unforgettable day! You will be immersed in the different animal sectors of the zoo and will take part in the release of some of the park’s animals. Like a real carer, you will prepare food rations and enrich the environment of other species, and you will also contribute to the cleaning of the environment of our animals. During these few hours you will discover the daily life of our caretakers and the animals in their care.
- 12.30 pm: During your lunch break, you will share a moment of conviviality with the Zoo teams. Your meal, offered by the park, will be prepared by a caterer.
- 3pm : It’s the end of the day with the free visit of the park.

Adventurers’ birthday
Do you want to live an unforgettable adventure to celebrate your birthday? Bordeaux Pessac Zoo offers you an incredible experience in a unique place!
Bordeaux Pessac Zoo is looking for a team to solve a case of the utmost importance. Poachers are preparing to steal animals from the Zoo, it’s a disaster! We need to stop them before it’s too late, we need you and your team of rangers to save them!
The program of your day
- 2pm: Meet at the Zoo reception to collect your belongings and the clues that will enable you to solve the riddle
- Visit of the park in autonomy to find the answers to the riddles thanks to the map provided and the clues placed in key places (1H30). Solving the riddles will allow you to go to the final stage to collect your reward in the shop!
- 16:00: Ranger snack with a birthday cake of your choice: chocolate or apple pie, drinks and 1 bag of sweets/child (provided by the park).
Practical information
- Period: Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays (from April to the end of October) by reservation only.
- Age : Offer reserved for children between 4 and 12 years old
- Number of participants: minimum 6 children and maximum 10 children.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- A gift for the adventurer who celebrates his birthday.
